Wanda Jeffery was born July 7, 1946 in Belle Fourche.  She was the daughter of James and Muriel (Thomas) Jeffery.  Wanda grew up on a dairy farm near Fruitdale, and graduated from Belle Fourche high school.  In 1964 she was married to Dennis Frank.  To this union a daughter, Shawna, was born.  They later divorced.  Wanda married Rod Hecker and to this union a son, Rodney, was born.  In 1969 they moved to Burbank CA and also lived in North Hollywood CA.  The couple later divorced and in 1973, Wanda returned to Belle Fourche.  She lived in Gillette WY for a time, where she worked in a dental office.  Later, she once again returned to Belle Fourche, and in 1988 she married Andrew Demos.  Together they were blessed with 34 years of marriage together.

Wanda was a gifted seamstress.  She would make outfits by using her eyes and no pattern.  And she could do it well, and in no time at all.  She was also very artistic when it came to ceramics.  In fact, Wanda had a ceramics shop for several years.  She was Andy’s right-hand gal when it came to their business, Demos Towing.  She was always dispatching and she helped run the business for many years.  Wanda was a strong woman with a heart of gold.  One of her greatest loves in life was her horses.  She loved spending time with them and she treasured them very much.  Wanda was a very special wife, mother, and grandmother, and she will be missed greatly.

Wanda is survived by her husband, Andy Demos of Belle Fourche; son, Rodney (Millie) Hecker of Glocester VA; daughter, Shawna Ginsbach of Tacoma WA; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; mother, Muriel Jeffery of Spearfish; 2 step-sons, Bill Demos of Danville IL, Jim (Stephanie) Demos of Mahomet IL; niece, Carlie Jeffery of Belle Fourche; and brother, George Jeffery of Belle Fourche.  She was preceded in death by her father, James Jeffery Sr.; and brother, James Jeffery Jr.
